The Sacrament of Penance or The Sacrament of Reconciliation is scheduled today. (Review: Blest Are We book pages: 164-168 Chapter 14)
As a class we said the Act of Contrition (p.14):
I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to wrong and failing to do good,
I have sin against you whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intended, with your help,
to do penance
to sin no more,
and avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us.
In His name, my God have mercy.
